Cashbox Reconciliation
Count your physical cash, compare against the system, and generate reconciliation reports with detailed entries per denomination.
Reconciling cash at an exchange house means counting money in multiple currencies and denominations. Divisafe turns that process into a guided flow: you count physically, capture the amounts per denomination, and the platform compares against the system balance.
Differences appear in detail, broken down by currency, denomination, and recent operation, making it easy to spot the source of any mismatch.
Key capabilities
Count by denomination
Capture bills and coins by specific denomination (USD 100, USD 50, etc.) for precise physical count.
System comparison
Automatic differences between counted stock and theoretical stock, per currency and cashbox.
Reconciliation report
Generate a detailed report of every reconciliation with the responsible's signature and export for internal audit.
Complete history
Each reconciliation is saved with author, date, and results, forming an auditable shift-close history.
How it works day to day
At shift close, the teller runs reconciliation: counts 12 USD 100 bills, 8 USD 50, and 35 USD 20. Captures the amounts in Divisafe, which shows a USD 20 difference vs. system. The teller reviews recent operations, finds an incorrectly captured sale, and fixes it. Closes the shift with an exact match.
